About the Programme
The PROM Programme – short-term academic exchange – enables students and university staff to acquire knowledge and skills in an international environment, which participants can apply at various stages of their professional careers. It also facilitates the establishment and strengthening of cooperation between Polish higher education institutions, research units, and foreign institutions.
The programme is a continuation of two previous calls funded under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development (PO WER). A new feature is the possibility to offer scholarships also to first- and second-cycle students as well as students of long-cycle Master’s programmes.
PROM provides funding for short-term mobilities aimed at enhancing the competencies of students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff, including:
- active participation in an international conference (presentation, including participation in a poster session),
- gathering materials for a doctoral dissertation or scientific article,
- participation in a summer or winter school,
- conducting measurements using unique equipment,
- testing research apparatus or unique artistic instruments,
- participation in short learning formats such as courses (including intensive ones recognised within the study programme), workshops, professional or industrial internships, and study visits, including those carried out at enterprises,
- conducting archival or library queries,
- teaching classes,
- participation in preparing an international grant proposal.
